Les 12 Bois du Cerf

Everything feels old and overdue for replacement. The cottage really needs a full renovation: the toilet was blocked, cleanliness was lacking, the tablecloth was ripped in several spots, there was no Wi-Fi signal, and there weren't any garden chairs.

We had a very unpleasant stay. The rooms were dirty and neglected, with mold on the walls throughout the accommodation. None of the doors would close, and some bedrooms had no windows. Getting to the upper rooms was difficult too, with narrow doors and stairs that had no railings. They kept our deposit, and nobody responds to calls or emails. I wouldn't even give it one star, but apparently a review needs one to be published. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The sleeping areas were fine, but the kitchen and living room felt small for the number of guests the place can take. The Wi-Fi and TV were both poor. Basic accommodation, okay for a weekend, though I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

It's a lovely holiday home with the comforts you need, though the bathrooms are rather small. The setting is peaceful, which suited us. For families with young kids, Chlorophylle Park is well worth a visit.
