The château looks lovely in the photos, but our stay was a big disappointment. The building itself is impressive, but that’s about where the good points end. Our room was poorly decorated, dead flies covered the window ledge, and the bathroom pipes gave off a strong sewage smell. The floor hadn’t been cleaned properly, despite the extra fee we paid for bringing our dogs. We slept terribly and left first thing in the morning. The receptionist was the one bright spot: she was kind and helped us find a nearby restaurant, since there isn’t one at the property. It wasn’t worth the 156 € we paid. At best, it should cost around 50 €, and it felt more like a hostel than a hotel or B&B.

The château is beautiful, though the rooms themselves are basic. We stayed in Room 10 on the second floor, which was spacious and warm on 2/3/2023, even with the temperature outside at minus one degrees C. It’s an important property that must take a lot to maintain. I wish the owners luck with the income from running it as a hotel.

Food was expired on several occasions, and the water machine was dirty. The price per night is nowhere near justified by the service. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s a friendly, good hotel, though the breakfast was very simple and self-service. My room didn’t have a shower curtain. Nobody was around when I checked out, so I left the key on the desk.

For what it costs, this hotel is awful. The rooms were dirty, the beds felt as hard as rock, and it took 20min to get hot water. Breakfast was terrible too. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
