The place looks very nice at first, and it’s an old hotel with everything a group of 25-35 people needs. But we couldn’t enjoy the garden or terrace in the evening because the neighbours would call the police if there was even a whisper after 10. The bathrooms are also very old and need renovating. Water left on the floor after using the bathroom leaks through the ceiling, and the owner charged us for the painting work if we didn’t dry it right away. We had a nice weekend, but the way the owner treated us afterwards was beyond acceptable and very disappointing.

We were looking forward to a family weekend at the cottage, but a concert was taking place right next door that same weekend and nobody had told us. After we complained, the owner agreed to a small amount of compensation for the disruption. It felt minimal given the price and inconvenience. When we got in touch a few weeks later because it still hadn’t arrived, the owner refused to pay anything, saying, apparently, “we would have had a good time anyway.” We ended up putting up with the concert and watching it from the cottage, adjusting our plans so the weekend wouldn’t be even worse. The place is nice, but I’d avoid dealing with the owner.
