The best part was the peaceful setting, surrounded by greenery and sheep, chickens and geese. We had a sunny weekend at Knotwilgenhoeve, just ten minutes from Knokke, and already plan to return soon. Our stay felt far too short. Marijke welcomed us warmly. Room number 2 was spotless and very spacious, with a comfortable double bed and two extra single beds in the attic that we didn’t need. The little terrace and garden furniture were lovely in the sun, and private parking was only a few meters from the room. The bathroom was small but very functional, with a handy shower and mild liquid soap. There was also a separate toilet. Breakfast in the veranda was plentiful, varied and delicious, with bread and jams Marijke makes herself.

The rooms are large and very clean, and the place is really quiet. Everyone was so friendly, and breakfast was delicious. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

It’s a great place for cyclists and hikers, and even families with small children can enjoy staying here. The setting on the Belgian coast is beautiful and peaceful, just as the owners intend. Rooms are tastefully furnished across two separate buildings, with a stylish, relaxing feel. Breakfast is top-notch and well worth the room price.

Just a 12-minute drive from Knokke, this is a quiet spot with a beautiful, clean and spacious room. We got a friendly welcome, and had our own garden with a seating area.
