ibis Liège Seraing

The friendly staff smiled a lot, which I really appreciated, and the coffee was good. But the bathroom sink was clogged, so we had to brush our teeth in the shower. The hotel couldn’t move us to another room because it was apparently full. There were also lots of mosquitoes in the room, including some massive ones, so anyone highly allergic should stay away. The breakfast dining area was too small for a big group. Most of the food was okay, though the hot dog from the hot selection was cold.

There are a few shops, restaurants, and a gym nearby, and the location was good. The room was spacious, and breakfast was good value. It also had the usual Ibis standards.

I stopped here during a long drive, and it worked perfectly for that. It’s just off the highway, parking is easy, and the beds are comfortable. The staff were both friendly and efficient, and they recognized my Accor status and gave me welcome drinks. I hadn’t booked breakfast since I was rushing off at 06:30, but the front desk employee was genuinely considerate and let me grab a much needed coffee. I’d already had my welcome drink when I arrived, so the extra one was especially generous, perhaps against policy. I can only strongly recommend the hotel.

We paid just 65 euros for a night for two, which is really cheap. The receptionist gave us a lovely welcome, and there’s a terrace out front with plenty of parking. Our room was clean and tidy, with lots of space and a TV for each bed. I wasn’t keen on the paper cups instead of glasses.
