The owners are very friendly, and the place is clean. It’s close to the beach and Nieuwpoort center, with air conditioning included.

The site feels rather spartan. It’s cheaper to book directly with the campsite than through another website. The restaurant food was good, though we waited an hour, which felt like a long time. Payment is cash only. Our caravan was right beside the main road, and traffic bothered us a lot while we were lying in bed. It was small but had everything, and was reasonably clean. I did find dog or cat hairs here and there, probably stuck to the cleaning cloths, since there was hair on the shower wall too.

The mussels were delicious, and the dog had a great time. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and lovely weather, with trips to Nieuwpoort, Oostduinkerke, and Ostend. There’s no Wi-Fi, but we didn’t really need it.
