We were just passing through, so I can't comment on nearby attractions, but I'd happily stay here again if we're in the area. The place is comfortable, quaint and reasonably priced, and the host was a friendly, welcoming fellow. Our group included Germans and Americans. He didn't speak either language particularly well, but we got along fine. We'd emailed ahead, as requested, to say we'd arrive after 6:00 p.m. When we got there at 9:00 p.m., the whole town seemed to be asleep. We parked right outside. The hotel was quiet, and after one knock the owner let us in, welcomed us and helped carry our bags to our two rooms. He showed us the amenities and said he and his wife might be away in the morning, so we could let ourselves out. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice bathrooms, good showers and plenty of hot water. Wifi was available with a password. We didn't hear any noise or disturbance overnight. In the morning, breakfast was set out in the dining room. There was a nice spread of northeastern European staples: cheese, meats, rolls, yogurt, muesli, fruit, milk, juice and coffee. After eating, we packed up and let ourselves out. A note for anyone with mobility issues: getting upstairs may be difficult. I didn't see a lift, and the passage was a little narrow. I'm not sure whether there are rooms on the ground floor.
