Gina was warm, helpful, and a really good cook. She checked each day what time I wanted breakfast the next morning and worked around my schedule. Starting the day with such a tasty meal in such a lovely place made it hard to imagine having a bad day! My room was spotless and everything worked properly. Both rooms are in the attic, up two flights of stairs. Mine had three large windows and a fan, so even during warm days in the high 20s C or low 80s F, it cooled down easily in the evening. Restaurants, bars, and attractions are all an easy walk away. The stairs might put some people off, and Gina uses scented detergent on the sheets and towels, which could bother anyone sensitive to fragrance. If you can book one of her two rooms, you’re in for a treat.

Gina is a wonderful host, and we really enjoyed spending time with her. The B&B sits beside the beautiful Begijnhof, about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Our room was spacious, with a seating area and a workspace, but still felt cozy.

The room was spacious, with a big shower and a wonderful bed. The hostess was very friendly and made a delicious breakfast fresh. The B&B is in a beautiful, prime spot on the street beside the Grand Beguinage. To book, call her mobile number, since the landline is hard to reach; see the business card. Thanks so much!

The location is lovely, facing Groot Begijnhof, and the city centre is an easy walk away. The room itself was okay, though it was up three flights of stairs. The toilet was separated from the room only by a screen, which felt unpleasant and gave us no privacy. We had to reset the Wi-Fi password every time we left the building, and it felt outdated. The breakfast table was beautifully set, but the meal was very meagre. The owner seemed unfriendly and uninterested in us and the other guests. A B&B should have the opposite feel, and that would be a plus. She seemed focused only on rules and came across as compulsive. Not recommended.
