My parents spent a few summer days at the guesthouse while visiting Leuven. They had a nice room, a very good breakfast, and a convenient location. What stood out most was how the owners went out of their way to help whenever something came up, even when it wasn’t really their responsibility. Such a friendly place. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The house has a lovely feel, mixing a historic building with modern interiors, and the rooms were clean. The owners were friendly and supportive, and breakfast included fresh, ecological food. It’s right by the wonderful attraction Groot Begijnhof Leuven, making this the best place to stay in Leuven.

Breakfast was a generous spread of fruit, cereals, cold meats, bread, pastries, juice, and eggs, served at a table set with linen placemats and napkins. The owner is also eco-conscious, with solar panels, composting, and his own hens. My room looked onto the lovely back garden and was quiet. It had been modernized, with satellite TV, double-glazed windows, a roomy shower with a rainfall head, and still had wooden floors and high beamed ceilings. The owner was gracious and very helpful. It’s a wonderful retreat in an old building renovated with taste.
