Hotel L' Amandier

We had a really nice stay in this beautiful area. The hotel is a pleasant local place with reasonable prices, right by the town entrance, and there's plenty of parking. A big supermarket, cafes and restaurants are nearby. The bar is great for a rainy evening, with lots of local beers and snacks. Rooms are cozy and have everything you'd need, including a coffee machine. Breakfast is offered too, with a very good selection.

There's not much to see in town unless big home improvement stores are your thing. The hotel itself is very good, with an exceptional breakfast. It also has several EV chargers and a shed for storing a bicycle, or you can hire one.

The only snag was slow wifi. Otherwise, what a gem! The service was outstanding, the room was clean and good quality, and the location was great, with a nice view from the room. Breakfast was delicious, a 5* spread with loads of choices and an egg station where they cook to order. We didn't use the jacuzzi, but it's a nice extra. There's also an electric car charging option.

The hotel is easy to get to, with lots of parking and two destination chargers for EVs. It's well maintained, and the modern rooms are nicely decorated and spacious enough. The bathroom has a large shower, and the room is well insulated against outside noise, even though the area is reasonably quiet. There's a bar with comfortable seating. The restaurant isn't currently operating, except for a very nice, generous buffet breakfast. There's a nice Brasserie Restaurant across the parking lot, and other places to eat within walking distance.
