Getaway Liège

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and I only wish I'd had more time to explore it. Check-in was quick and efficient, though getting into the building after reception hours was a hassle because I didn't have a key or code. A perfect Apart’Hotel for a stay at the Liege Getaway Studios.

The self check-in was easy to follow. We arrived after 8pm and had told them ahead of time, so they sent us a gate code. Finding our room, 103 or something like that, was tricky. It was around a corner in an open courtyard-like area, so rain would definitely have reached us. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the spacious room heated up quickly. The shower was nice and the bathroom, including the toilet, was roomy. The kitchenette table wobbled. I tried padding underneath where needed, but it didn't really help. Maybe I missed it in the room description, but I hadn't realized we'd have to clean up after ourselves. Leaving dirty dishes in the sink costs €25, and there was a closet with towels, trash bags and other cleaning supplies for us to use before leaving. We enjoyed our stay, and I'd book again despite the things that kept it at four stars instead of five. There's a shop less than a 10-minute walk away, open after 9pm, selling all sorts of food and other things you might need. Its name is in one of these pictures. The hotel has no parking, and the nearby lot cost €17.50 for the night. 😬

We were welcomed so warmly by the incredibly kind staff, and the hotel was great value for money. I stayed in Liège to celebrate my third anniversary with my girlfriend, and the hotel was perfectly placed for us. The room had everything we needed, with plenty of space, spotless throughout and kept at just the right temperature by the air conditioning. Thanks especially for the complimentary bottle of champagne, which made our celebration even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and right in the heart of liege, with a clean bathroom, kitchenette and workspace. The hotel's design is very cool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great hotel.
