Radisson Hotel Liege City Centre

The breakfast experience is awful, with arrogant waiters who treat you like an enemy and disappear into the kitchen, shutting the door to avoid serving you. Cleanliness is a serious issue from the breakfast bar to the rooms, and complaints get ignored. The rooms are incredibly dusty, so I wake up coughing with a stuffy nose. They're as small as other hotels' bathrooms, with nowhere to put a suitcase except where you'll have to step over it. Between the hygiene problems and surly staff, Liege isn't somewhere I'd stay again.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and breakfast was good and delicious. The rooms are small but neat and clean. There's no gym at the hotel. The front desk guy was unwelcoming and still hasn't added my membership number. When my room key didn't work, I had to go back to him, and he didn't say sorry once.

Sarah was very helpful with my questions in advance, and I appreciated the good Radisson Rewards recognition, welcome gift, and drink voucher. The room had a nice view, modern clean decor, and plenty of amenities. This is a very solid Radisson opposite the St. Lambert train station in Liège. I'd definitely return.

I had to stay here for two weeks for work, and the rooms were among the smallest I've ever had. I really don't understand the reviews calling them spacious or praising the staff. Reception was very unfriendly, with little sense of customer service, and made guests feel uncomfortable. They also don't speak English well. I won't stay at Radisson hotels again.
