Kathleen made us feel so looked after and at home. She seems able to make any wish come true, and we honestly can't thank her enough for the stay. The room was perfect, with hotel initials on the bed linen and big, fluffy bathrobes we didn't want to take off. Breakfast deserves a mention of its own. Kathleen made it just how we wanted, including a delicious ham and cheese quiche and porridge. We were traveling with our little daughter and had friends living nearby, so we asked if we could have dinner at the hotel. Kathleen kindly said yes and invited a friend studying to become a chef in Brussels to cook for us. We had several delicious courses, including the best dessert ever. Kathleen also has a great wine collection, and everything was at very reasonable prices. The heated swimming pool is kept at 28 degrees, so even on a hot day you can jump in early in the morning without waiting for it to warm up. We felt cared for with love and will 100% come back. Can't rate this magical little place enough!!!!!!

A peaceful rural spot that made a delightful bolt hole for a few days, with Gent and Brugge both within visiting distance. The breakfast is to die for, and having the sauna was a lovely spoil on top. Staying here felt like a home from home, in a slightly otherworldly way. Lots of things brought back my Afrikaans roots in South Africa.
