The chef made us a fantastic dinner, and the pricing was just right and flexible. We were a big group on a last-minute trip, but the manager accommodated all our needs and the staff helped us throughout. They kept in touch from the day I booked until the very end. 10/10, highly recommend.

The building and garden are in a beautiful location, but the rooms feel quite dated. We stayed one night in August, and even with some heat the fan barely kept the room cool. Breakfast was okay, though the room was warm and had a lot of flies.

The restaurant was a real highlight, with outstanding food. The gardens around the hotel are neat and well kept, and you can follow several walking routes or simply stroll there. Service was quick and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Our room was tidy and clean, and the bed was comfortable. A lovely place for an overnight stay, highly recommended.

We'd happily choose this lovely property for a weekend any time of year. It's close to a nature preserve with plenty of hiking trails, and the staff are friendly. Our room was spacious, though it showed some wear, and I wondered if the comforter was polyester. Dinner was delicious and the service professional. In the morning, a generous breakfast was served on the lighted terrace.

The staff were extremely friendly and even upgraded us to the tower room for free. The whole estate, with its lush gardens, really makes you feel like royalty. It's a beautiful castle inside and out, and the classy interior suits it perfectly. Breakfast was high quality, and it's also worth stopping by for coffee, since they have fresh vlaai each day. Hopefully we'll be back!
