The garden and spotless, roomy bedrooms made it easy to unwind, and we felt completely at home. The hosts were attentive throughout and took care of everything we needed. Breakfast was part of the price, with far more than we could manage. It’s a lovely area for walks and bike rides, too. TripAdvisor gives it a 9.8, nearly the top score, and we’d give it 10.

I’m already looking forward to another visit to B&B Haerlekij in Maasmechelen. Annick and Frank made us feel at home, and Annick gave us a tour of the place, including the spotless kitchen, living room, and bar stocked with local beer. Our room was spacious and had everything ready for us. The booking was easy, even though we arrived quite late, and the welcome was warm. Breakfast was a highlight: bread, eggs made to order, bacon, fruit, yogurt, and more. Such kind hosts, lovely rooms, and a great little town.

We spent time hiking in the beautiful Hoge Kempen National Park, and Frank's shuttle service came in very handy. Annick and Frank were friendly and welcoming throughout. The room was spacious and luxurious, and both breakfast and the packed lunches were generous. A high-quality B&B, highly recommended.

For five days, Frank and Annick drove us to each day's starting point for the Hoge Kempen NP trail, which made the hike really relaxing. They also shared tasty restaurant suggestions for the many Italian places nearby. We stayed in spacious, luxurious rooms at B&B De Haerlekijn in Meeswijk/Maasmechelen and set out each morning with a hearty breakfast and packed backpack. They're both very friendly and hospitable.

After a walk or bike ride, it was nice to have local beers waiting, and breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful. Frank and Annick are dedicated, welcoming hosts, and their modern B&B is finished off neatly. We had a fantastic stay, highly recommend it!
