The pool was a good way to cool off after a hot day. It’s huge, more like an old pond fitted with pool walls, with a sandy bottom and not much depth. It looked crowded, but once in the water it didn’t feel too busy because it’s so large. We spent four nights on a pitch with a rooftop tent. The ground was dusty, with hardly any grass, so sand got into everything, and there were barely any trees for shade. The trees that were there had doves constantly fighting in them. I’ve got a personal gripe with those birds after a few branches landed on my car 😅. The sanitary facilities were poor. They looked dirty and smelled bad; the showers were okay in size but didn’t look very clean, and the toilets were very dirty, so clean them before using them. You have to pay for every bit of hot water, even at the dishwashing station. Reception was lovely and kind and answered all our questions. The man who showed us to the pitch seemed overworked and angry, though we hardly dealt with him. The campsite stayed busy and loud all day, with kids running around, a tractor collecting rubbish, and cars driving everywhere. At night, the freeway noise was very noticeable, so avoid it if you don’t like white noise 😂. As a young couple, we prefer peace and quiet, so I wouldn’t recommend it for us, though we expected that when we booked.

There’s loads to do around the campsite. We found some great places while biking, and it’s near an outlet shopping village if you feel like shopping. If you’re up early, you might spot wildlife. I saw a cute rabbit one morning. The facilities were easy to reach wherever we were staying, with shower rooms and toilets all over. There’s also a convenience store, a romantic restaurant by the lake, and a bar with different activities. Last time there was bingo and dancing, with campers dressed up. It was so fun to see, like a mini village of its own. I had a great time and would love to come back!

The location is beautiful, and the pool is gorgeous, about the size of a small lake. The showers and toilets were clean. I just thought the staff could have been friendlier.

It’s a great place for a summer swim, and the facilities were super clean despite it being high season. Reception was another story: the staff were very unfriendly and unpleasant, and not helpful. What they told us also contradicted the information on their own website.

We only stayed one night and didn’t feel like extending it to see whether the location and other amenities made up for the hassles. The campsite was almost empty, yet they put us on an odd pitch in the middle of an empty field. Nobody explained that we needed a card to get hot water, even for washing dishes. For a shower, bring coins, it costs €1.
