DAFT Hotel

We stayed for two nights and really appreciated the kind welcome and care. The hotel matched its photos and description, and the location was quiet. The accommodation was cool, and after a full day hiking, the sauna was great. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options.

I tried booking on a whim at the last minute during SPA F1 week, but couldn't get a couple of nights because one of the F1 teams had reserved every room. So, unofficially, it's the official F1 hotel. Daft has this quirky feel mixed with quiet luxury. Every corner feels like an inside joke expressed through great design. It's boutique-cool without trying too hard, with lobby vinyl, strong coffee for jet lag, and the feel of a creative retreat instead of a cookie-cutter stay. The rooms are cozy, stylish, and unmistakably Daft, with smart layouts, mood lighting, and practical features. The staff have an easy charm and seem to really like their jobs, which is rare. Breakfast is complimentary and great, especially the scrambled eggs, which were perfect and reminded me of childhood. This hotel is a whole mood board, room service included.

A pool, sauna, honesty bar, great breakfast, coffee on tap, and high-quality projectors for watching films in the room all made the stay special. The surroundings are beautiful too, and the merch was great. We ended up here by chance when our car broke down late on a Sunday, and what a lucky find. Everyone was incredibly helpful, from getting us a room at 9:30pm to holding it for a second night when we needed one, and storing our bikes and luggage while we looked for another car. They turned what could've been a stressful situation into a great stay. We'll be back in better circumstances. Thank you all.

We had two communicating rooms for our two children and us, and the staff were very kind and helpful. It was very quiet, though there weren't many guests, so we can't say how noisy it might be with neighbors. We only got to enjoy the nice fire pit briefly because of the children. One downside, the spa tiles are very slippery, and without slippers there's a serious risk of falling on your backside.
