We had beautiful rooms and a good breakfast, and the family were incredibly hospitable. Highly recommended!

Xhoffraix was a delightful surprise. We stayed in simple, charming, clean rooms built into their passive house, with a lovely view. We also had the chance to enjoy the beautiful garden belonging to Charlotte and Luca (Régine & Joseph's grandchildren). If you meet them, they’ll welcome you warmly and are sure to recommend the Bar à Bout des Charmilles, where we had a wonderful meal. The hosts are locals who know the superb nearby walking routes, which I highly recommend. Make time for Malmedy too, and try the “bûcheron” (dark and wholemeal) at Boulangerie Close. It’s an excellent spot for a relaxing weekend of sports and hiking in the High Fens.
