The owners made me feel like family during my stay for the Spa F1 Grand Prix. When they weren’t busy, they offered me a lift to malmedy so I could catch the shuttle bus. The food was fantastic too, with a fresh menu each day.

Breakfast comes with the stay, though I’m not a morning person, so I didn’t make much use of it. At 65€ a night through Booking, I felt the hotel offered what I’d expect from a three-star place. The owner was easygoing and provided excellent service. My room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom looked like it had recently had a good renovation. There was no wait for hot water. I’d come back. The owner speaks three languages, by the way.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was great, especially the steak. We arrived late on a road trip, but they still sorted us out with food and beer at 9:30 p.m.

We only stopped in for a quick coffee, but it’s a nice hotel with excellent staff and a good menu.
