A very quiet, lovely place with simple but really tasty food. You can visit the cows too :) The host was kind and welcoming.

A very pleasant place to stay, with clean, nice rooms. The lady who owns it was lovely and very helpful. The village is tiny but has good views. Communication is in French and a little Dutch. I recommend it!

I wouldn’t recommend it. We could hear every sound from the neighbours through the walls, even the dog walking or scratching in the room above. The bed was noisy too, so even a small movement could be heard by everyone. Our room wasn’t made up during the two days we stayed. Breakfast was limited, with no fruit or yoghurt, and had to be ordered from her the day before. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly. When we asked, she said to knock the water pot and it would be fine. We had to knock the WC pot every time we used it. Is that normal?

It’s a family-run place, and the hardworking farm family made a strong impression on me as an American farmer. My wife and I stayed five nights while touring an area where my father served during WWII. Our room was clean, well furnished, and felt safe. Breakfast was outstanding. When I asked for something to clean the mud off my boots, she brought a bucket of hot water and a brush. She knew just what I needed. We had a language challenge, but managed to communicate. If you work with livestock or on a farm, this is a good place to stay. It’s also peaceful and pleasant if you want a good rest. Dave Dimmick
