The husband was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help us when we arrived. His wife had left shortly before, and he was handling the B&B with nearly 20 guests, so some things were missing and it wasn't all spotless. Even so, his kindness made us forget the way his ex-wife had treated us. Before our stay, she was extremely unpleasant. She asked whether we had booked through Booking.com, demanded full payment 10 months in advance, gave us false information about the room, and was insulting. We had no other option, so we kept the reservation. Best of luck to the gentleman.
