A lovely garden, genuine hospitality, and a historic place with an old-fashioned feel. Wonderful.

Really great!

There was nowhere to put my things, the furniture was dirty, and there was no TV or key. I found the accommodation completely unacceptable. The friendliness was okay, and so was breakfast.

The lovely garden, charming holiday home, and nice breakfast area were the good parts. But our room wasn't in that part of the house. It felt like staying at a friend's place rather than a proper guest room: dusty, dirty curtains, no storage since the space was used for the residents' things, a small dirty fridge, and a TV that didn't work. The bathroom was shared with the owners, full of their belongings, and the bathtub wasn't working. There was no privacy, either. I was in a room beside their child, who snored very loudly, and while I was out and my things were still in the room, the owner came in without asking or telling me. At checkout nobody was around to take the keys. I waited 30 minutes, then left them on the table with a note. For what it cost, the service and location left me angry, and I had a terrible night. I don't like posting bad reviews, but this was ridiculous. The owners probably won't like this, and maybe they'll respond harshly, but that's fine. I won't post photos. Sincerely.
