Hotel Acropolis

We came for four nights and ended up extending our stay to two weeks. The apartment had a roomy living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom, a luxurious bathroom, and a nice terrace. Downstairs there's a large place to relax, with free coffee and tea, an honesty bar, and things like darts, chess, and carts to play with. There's also a garage for bikes. The only odd thing was having to pay extra to park on site. It's right among sports facilities for swimming, padel, minigolf, mountain biking, and more. A top hotel.

The room was gorgeous and spacious, but there was a brown stain on the couch, mold in the bathroom, and a sticky substance on the hairdryer that made it hard to hold. Our first impression wasn't good either. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in, and the receptionist seemed bothered, letting out a big sigh instead of even saying hello. She could have asked us to wait, or let us in if the room was ready. At checkout, it was the same receptionist, and she didn't ask how our stay was or say goodbye. I wouldn't come back. I hope things change for future guests.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the shower was nice and hot. The gentleman who checked us in was so helpful, a real credit to the hotel. We also liked the free tea and coffee and the idea of an honesty bar for drinks and snacks. We'll definitely return.

It felt like home to me. The hotel was really good, with daily cleaning and friendly, kind, trustworthy staff.
