WiFi worked in only about one square meter of the room, by the kitchen. None of our three devices got a signal anywhere else, including the bed, table, or door. The welcome at the rental company was cold and distant. The room looked like it was from the 1980s and hadn't been updated much, apart from perhaps the fridge, TV, and cooktop. The bed was okay, and the used kitchen was acceptable, but the bathroom had seen a lot of use. The shower overflowed, the shelf above the sink was barely hanging on, and the towels looked like they were from the 1990s. The TV stayed in showroom mode, with part of the screen covered by the brand promotion, and the remote didn't work at all. It was only 55+10 tourist tax, but I've had better for less. At least try, please.

Both rooms had a small kitchen cupboard, and the facility itself was nice. We booked two rooms at the same price and size, but they weren't furnished alike and the bathrooms differed in size. One bed was extremely soft and could cause back problems. Even so, the stay was good overall.

My wife and I were left waiting outside in the cold for over an hour after I booked a room online. Nobody came to let me in, and no one answered any of the phone numbers. We eventually left without resolving it. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

The area was quiet, and the room was clean. The beach was just a five-minute walk away. We were happy with our short stay in Westende.
