Vî Molin

Breakfast deserves a special mention: generous, varied, and made with local products, including apple juice from apples grown in the garden. The hosts were kind and flexible, which made the stay memorable. The hotel is in a charming little village, inside a historic building with a very modern, comfortable interior. There are several rooms in the main house and a separate cottage. Guests in the rooms share a hot tub, while the cottage has its own. You can see the care and attention to detail throughout.

We made it back from our walks to a lovely warm jacuzzi and really didn’t want to get out. The B&B sits beside a river, and there are plenty of trails nearby. One trail passes right by, so you can start and finish a hike there. Breakfast was excellent and gave us the big meal we needed before walking. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Marion and Florence were great hosts, and everything was clean and well cared for. Our room had what we needed, including robes and sandals for the jacuzzi. There’s also a private cabin on the property with a sauna and jacuzzi, though it wasn’t available during our stay. Spa is less than 20 minutes away by car, where we went for dinner. The roads are winding and very dark, so drive carefully and pick a designated driver if you plan to drink alcohol.

Marion was so welcoming and kind, and the breakfast won us over. We had a wonderful winter stay in this charming place.

Marion was especially lovely with our son and made us feel right at home. The dog was calm and sweet too, and we’d definitely come back. We stayed for 2 nights at A Vi Molin with our 4 years old son. The place was spotless, and the forest spa made for a really relaxing stay. Breakfast was amazing. There are family-friendly activities nearby that our son really enjoyed. We had a wonderful time.
