The rooms were great, and we had a pleasant stay in a modern, clean hotel. Everyone we met on staff was friendly. The bar seemed short-staffed in the evening, though, and the pool got crowded. Tables sat uncleared all evening. Still, it's a great place to stop.

It's my second stay here, and I'd come back when I'm passing through again. I like how quiet and rural the setting is. The rooms are generous in size and feel luxurious without costing a fortune. There's paid parking on site, plus plenty of street parking. The pool was nice, and so was breakfast. I saw lots of families there too.

The town has lovely restaurants and a great atmosphere, and the beach is only about a five-minute drive away. We stayed as a family of four in a family room, which was beautifully decorated and had a clever storage setup. The whole hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and the pool was spotless. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

The room assignment and key system left us feeling seriously unsafe. On 27 May 2025, I was given a key to Room 224 at check-in. When I opened the door, a man was already asleep in bed, partially exposed and probably unaware that we had walked in. My whole party, including children, saw it. I later found that the inside door lock doesn't stop another programmed keycard from opening the room. My son was also able to get a replacement key just by giving the room number, with no ID or name check. I couldn't sleep that night. At 2:30 in the morning the night guard found me pacing in the hallway after I'd had a panic attack. When I reported what happened, the receptionist asked, “Did he see you?” and then said, “Accidents happen.” I asked for a manager, but was told none were available. There was no proper apology or escalation, just deflection and indifference. I accepted a free breakfast as a goodwill gesture, but it was wrongly treated as “full compensation.” I don't consider the matter closed. The security flaws, lack of safeguarding, and staff downplaying what happened made this incredibly distressing. I expected far better from a hotel, especially one under the Ibis/Accor brand.
