Hotel Glenmore

We stayed again this weekend, and everything I said before still applies. Staff are excellent, and despite the new ownership, the service and cleanliness haven’t changed. We always stay here when we’re in Oostende and have already booked our next trip. It’s a lovely hotel just off the seafront, with the main square a short walk away and the station nearby for train travel. There’s limited parking on site, but plenty of other places close by. The deluxe rooms are large and well equipped, though I’d welcome a kettle. Breakfast is great. There’s a bar area, plus a sauna and jacuzzi, and special treatments are available. Plenty of other bars and restaurants are nearby. Recommended.

The location is perfect and the continental breakfast is great. The room and service weren’t anything special, though the staff were kind. Try to arrive by 8 pm, because checking in later can be a lot of trouble. It took me almost an hour.

The bed was great, and breakfast was good, but the way it was served changed three times during our visit. The place was clean. Even the larger rooms were small, and the light switches were awkwardly placed. The rooms aren’t modern and seem to have been furnished with cost savings in mind.

A cozy, warm, tidy place that feels familiar, just two minutes from the seaside and five minutes from the city centre and Oostende station. The room fee included a very generous breakfast. Service was excellent, and the spa, sauna, and solarium were very affordable, though they cost extra. I highly recommend it and will definitely return ❤️
