Our room faced a shaft at the back of the building, with hardly any natural ventilation, so they’d put a fan in the room. The window wouldn’t open properly unless I wedged something in it, which made me uncomfortable. Every so often a machine in the shaft kicked on and made enough noise to make it hard to relax. When we asked to move rooms, the receptionist barely glanced at us and started typing without explaining anything. We felt dismissed and unheard. On arrival, the receptionist had also rushed through the information without much attention or eye contact. We left with a very poor impression of the accommodation and the service.

A lovely bar, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s an amazing place to visit!

There was no shampoo in our room, so we asked at reception. The receptionist answered rudely and arrogantly, which made for a very bad hotel experience.

We had a great stay at this friendly hotel, tucked away from the bright lights in Ostend. The bed was comfy, the shower was awesome, and breakfast was good. The bar stayed open late, so we could have a beer when we got back. Lovely people too!

The breakfast had a great choice of cheeses and jams, and they could provide gluten-free bread. The room was small but thoughtfully laid out, with its own bathroom. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and the hotel sauna was a bonus. Highly recommend!
