Leopold Hotel Ostend

We’d stay here again. It was clean and nicely presented, and the local parking was only a short distance away. The hotel’s in a nice spot too, so I’d recommend it.

Good location, and both the service and breakfast were good. The room was cold and noisy, though.

The rooms feel modern, and the staff were friendly. It’s right in central Ostend, with the beach and shops just a short walk away. A comfortable place to stay.

I was in room 402. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, but the bathroom made the stay difficult. The toilet felt as if it was coming away from the wall and dropping when I sat down, so I didn’t want to use it. The shower wouldn’t drain, and since the bathroom floor was a little higher than the room, water ran out into the room after about five minutes. The coffee machine, a Nespresso type, didn’t work properly either, and the cups had a brown, sticky residue on them. The rooms look quite dated, even though the outside of the building, lobby and restaurant look good. The location is great, about five minutes from the beach. The elevator is very small and slow, so the stairs are a better option.
