The bedrooms are spacious, and the en suites are very well equipped. It’s a real family-run hotel, set in the wonderful odenburg countryside. The homemade food was fantastic, and the service had that personal touch a family business can offer. An absolute gem of a find. 100% all round, and this is the only hotel I’ll use when I’m back in the area.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great, with lots of homemade products. The rooms had all the comforts we needed. It’s very well located, close to Brugge and the coat. We’ll be back!

We’ve stayed at Hotel de Stokerij several times for a couple of days, and the owners have always given us a warm welcome. The hotel is charming and clean, and dogs are allowed too. The food is delicious. The owner does the cooking himself and treats the variety of dishes, including vegetarian food, as a challenge and a pleasure. We always look forward to seeing what he’ll serve.

The bathroom had a big tub that was comfortable for two, though it didn’t work as a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good, with eggs made to order, a garden view with cows, homemade smoked salmon, and a delicious selection of cheese.

The rooms were very warm, but the service felt less welcoming. At checkout I was charged 20 euros for “the dog and parking,” fees that hadn’t been disclosed when I booked or when I checked in.
