We spent two nights here, with endless woods nearby and little villages, cozy restaurants, and bike rides all within reach. Valerie lent us bikes so we could explore. The JolyTiny House itself is so peaceful. It sits among sheep and greenery, and the hostess, Valerie, was warm and made us feel completely at home and relaxed. Our arrangement included a full breakfast and good champagne, and we even got our first introduction to beekeeping!

This is a stay I’ll forget quickly. There was little comfort and none of the basics, no tables, chairs, cutlery, or dishwashing facilities. No heating or Wi-Fi either. Breakfast was far from gourmet, eaten in a lounge chair with two small side tables. The toilet is a 2025 bio-toilet, basically a wooden box with a hole and a metal bucket that has to be emptied. Wonderful. It’s not a quiet area either, with a school next door and constant noise from planes landing at Zaventem. The website is misleading and fake.

We had a wonderful welcome, and everything is set up to help you unwind. The setting is exceptional, with comfort and tranquility, and the dinner and breakfast were both high quality. If you enjoy cycling or walking in the forest, you’ll be delighted. A lovely little escape 😉

Valérie is a perfect, super attentive host, and the breakfast is amazing. The tiny house is warm, quiet, cozy, and incredibly well equipped. It really has everything. A little slice of paradise near Brussels! I’d love to stay there again on my next trip to Belgium.
