Such a pretty setting for a beautiful hotel. The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth visiting.

The location is fantastic for hiking, and we had a pleasant, if short, stay. It's a cosy hotel, with friendly staff and a varied, tasty breakfast. The spa is small but fine for a quick visit. The owner collects antiquities, including Asian objects and stuffed animals, so the place feels a bit like a small museum.

Breakfast had lots to choose from, both savoury and sweet, and the wellness area was relaxing and well worth a visit. The host was friendly, and the room was cosy. There was no need to worry about a language barrier: the host speaks French and Dutch, and probably English and a few other languages too. The shared areas had very creative, cosy decor.

The decor was lovely, and we slept brilliantly in the perfect beds. Breakfast was plentiful and good, especially considering the covid-19 situation. With the fine weather, the night sky was breathtaking. A really nice stay.

It's a very quiet, remote spot, with two small war cemeteries nearby. The house has lots of interesting things, though it seems to have seen better days. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bar downstairs is cosy, and breakfast is nice.
