Canal View Hotel Ter Brughe by CW Hotel Collection

I’m usually uncomfortable in hotels because I’m a germaphobe, but I adored our room here and this place felt like a dream. The location was lovely, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast by the windows overlooking the river. I really hope I get the chance to visit again. I loved my time here!

The rooms have a lovely, almost magical feel, and the bathrooms have been nicely updated with showers. It’s also an easy walk to the main sights and shops. The staff were friendly, helpful, and there for guests around the clock, which was great. I’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to return.

It felt much more like a five-star place than a four-star hotel to us. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of amenities, and the staff were warm and professional whenever we had a question. On our first trip to Bruges, my partner and I were welcomed so kindly, and the hotel had a storybook feel that made it feel like home. We can’t wait to come back to Hotel Ter Brughe. Waking up beside the canal was a real highlight, and the peaceful setting still made it easy to explore Bruges on foot. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of character, and the whole hotel felt welcoming. It has lovely historic charm, too. Ella deserves a special mention: she was so friendly and helpful, went out of her way for us, and made us feel welcome throughout. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ter Brughe and would happily return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Bruges.
