You can rent bikes here for a lovely ride. The rooms are roomy and clean, and the whole place is really quiet. A lovely little boutique hotel.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and even tweaked the restaurant menu so I could eat despite being lactose intolerant. My room was small but spotless, with a balcony and a Smart TV, and parking was available. A great hotel option.

I work nearby in summer and come back for a month every August because I love staying here. The food is always delicious, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The owner and staff are excellent, attentive, and know the region well. Essenza really captures the essence of the Flemish Scheldeland. Highly recommended!

Our flight ended up being three hours late, and Hugo waited for us the whole time. He was a lovely shuttle driver and had plenty of tips about Tomorrowland. The shuttle service is flexible too, and the manager will pick you up if needed. The breakfast buffet has lots of pastries and fresh fruit, plus an automatic juicer for fresh orange juice. It’s a nice, family-run hotel with very friendly, helpful staff, including the boss. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. I can highly recommend it.

We stayed one night for a business trip, and the hotel is in a really quiet part of the city. It’s a peaceful spot for good wine and tasty food, and the hotel is eco-friendly too. Our room was clean and big enough, with everything we needed. The toilet was separate from the shower, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was good, and there’s a pleasant circular walk of about 5 km nearby, or you can walk into the city centre.
