Breakfast was mostly homemade, and the rooms were spotless. It’s also a great central base for getting to the Ardennes highlights quickly. The rooms were perfect.

Back at Le Clos for my second stay, this time for mountain biking nearby. It’s tucked away and quiet, and the rooms have a cosy cottage feel with tasteful decor. There’s coffee and tea in the room, breakfast is healthy and filling, and the welcome is warm and friendly. Very comfortable, with loads of character.

Breakfast was good, and the setting was lovely, clean, and well kept, though a bit pricey. The owner was very polite and pleasant. His wife, though, was intrusive: she kept insisting on knowing our schedule, came into our room without our consent or any prior agreement, and tidied our belongings even though we'd locked the door while we were out.

We felt at ease from the moment we arrived, thanks to the hosts, who were attentive, smiling, and always around when needed. Their little touches and helpful tips made the stay even nicer. The guest room was warm, spotless, and tastefully decorated, and the setting was peaceful and relaxing. We had a wonderful time at Clos sur la Fontaine and would happily return. Such a charming place, and one we recommend without hesitation.
