A big kitchen is a real bonus, and there are plenty of rooms in this charming, typical Ardennes cottage. Nature is just a five-minute walk away, and the bakery is within walking distance too. It has a warm, cosy feel, and it's an ideal place for a weekend with friends.

The location is a plus: the cottage opens right onto the woods, and there's a bakery nearby. But the house itself was a mess. Sockets didn't work, some were hanging off the wall with wires exposed, the shower leaked, and the stove only partly worked. The finish was very poor, and a place with 16 beds had only one table where everyone could sit together. We've stayed in much better cottages for this price, all in good order. The owner maintains it himself, and it shows. When we arrived, it wasn't clean either: bottle caps and glass on the floor, and dirty glasses in the cupboard. The positive parts were about the location, not the cottage.
