They really saved the day on New Year’s Eve. The service was fantastic, and the food was great, made with home-grown produce. Ask Harry how he raises his oxen before serving them.

A really nice, peaceful place, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The only downside is getting there without a car: it’s almost a 4 km walk from Retie.

There was no heating or room key, and the kitchen had no equipment. There were bugs in the room, and the toilets and shower were shared. No cleaning service either. The entrance was left open, so anyone could get in, and someone did.

Great place to stay, with good hospitality, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. The canal view was lovely, surrounded by greenery, with birds chirping and boats passing by. Everything was hygienic.

Simple food, but the meat was really high quality! The boss at reception always knows the best bed. Oss bife.
