Our host Nicole was welcoming and great to talk to, with suggestions for exploring and freshly made breakfast each morning. The room was large, modern, and as stylish and comfortable as a bigger, pricier hotel chain in the Netherlands. The B&B sits near Riemst's farmland. There's not much to see in the village itself, but plenty nearby. Maastricht is about a 25-minute bike ride away. Getting there is mostly downhill; the way back has a fairly long climb, though an electric bike handles it easily.

This was our second time booking the apartment, and the hostess made sure we were spoiled again. She's very welcoming and knows how to keep her guests entertained. It's a beautiful B&B, with lovely rooms and a wonderful atmosphere.

Nicole really makes you feel at ease. She welcomed us with a drink and lots of information about the area, and was very hospitable throughout. We stayed downstairs in a lovely room in a beautifully renovated farmhouse. It felt luxurious, with an open bathroom and a bath, shower, and toilet behind a glass door. The firm Auping bed was nice, and there were two chairs to relax in. We rode our non-electric bikes through the fields to central Maastricht in 25 minutes, had lovely dinners there, then cycled back. Breakfast was super tasty, with Nicole making eggs just how you like them and plenty of other things too, see photo. The area is beautiful for walking and cycling, with fun things to do. We'd definitely return.
