Auberge Des Pérées

We really enjoyed the generous breakfast, with homemade bread, jams, and orange juice, and everything was delicious. The place was clean, too. The owners gave us a warm welcome and paid attention to what guests needed. It's set among the hills and countryside around the sites of Han-sur-Lesse, and it's a lovely spot if you want a quiet break with birdsong all around.

That beautiful setting and the meal are still vivid memories. We ate at the restaurant after a fantastic afternoon at the Han Caves, and the welcome was lovely from the start. The food and dishes were delicious, and we left absolutely delighted. We even had an excuse to come back the next day. We'd forgotten our bank card on the table, and the owner tried to catch up with us in her car to return it, but we were driving like maniacs and she couldn't reach us! 😂😂😂😂

We joined friends for breakfast, though we didn't stay overnight. The bread and pastries were delicious, the eggs just right, and there was plenty of cheese and ham. Easily one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hostel. I'd recommend this place, at least for breakfast.

It's a very calm place with a natural feel, and we've eaten well every time we've been. The terrace chairs and tables could use an update, maybe in teak, to make the restaurant feel even more charming.
