We spent two weeks here while working in Rochefort. The place was clean and tidy, and the bedrooms were a nice size, good for families. We were missing a few kitchen utensils, so that's why I'd give it four stars, though it wasn't a big deal. There's a nice communal garden with lots of things to do, as you can see in the photos, plus an outdoor barbecue. We couldn't use it because of the weather. The lady owner was friendly and helpful, and she speaks English, which was great since we don't speak French. I can highly recommend the place. Thank you.

After staying here, I left a review saying the whole house was filthy and the advertised pool couldn't be used. Then the lodgings changed their name on Google, and all the negative reviews seemed to disappear.

We had a lovely night in the little cottage "Chez Béné". It's tastefully decorated, clearly cared for, and has all the comforts of home. There was a private terrace as well as a shared garden. Lessive is a pretty little village, though the church bells ring every hour, even at night.

Another lovely stay at Le Tchabot gîte! The gîte is comfortable and well equipped, and Bénédicte and Jean-François are welcoming and very helpful. The garden is a paradise for children. We especially loved the big shared garden and having families there with girls the same age as ours. They spent hours playing together, and the language barrier didn't matter. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back next year! =)
