The waiter seemed a bit all over the place and didn't always pay attention. The food also felt quite expensive for what you get, at least the American frite. It cost €24 for something that looked like it came off a supermarket shelf with a few improvements. Serving it on cooking paper didn't feel like a proper way to present food. Even in Bastogne, which is much more touristy than Rochefort and near the Luxembourg border, prices aren't that high. What I ate was worth no more than €16 to me. It was pretty disappointing compared with my previous tender.

The staff were young and friendly, and they did their best to help. But the meal my pregnant partner and I had didn't feel worth the money. My pork with mushrooms and cream didn't seem freshly made. I suspect it had been prepared a day or two earlier and kept in the fridge or freezer. My partner chose one of the beef dishes based on their advice and asked for it well done because she's pregnant. It came out looking and feeling like toast. I don't think I'd go back.

It's a handy restaurant if you're looking for an early afternoon meal, when other nearby places or their kitchens are closed. Service was very quick when we went, though it wasn't a busy time. The children's portions are tiny for most kids older than about four, and ours were still a bit hungry. We also had a strawberry ice cream that was very milky, pink, and sweet.

We'd booked and reserved ahead for a work dinner, specifically to have four portions of raclette. When we arrived, there was no raclette available. A horrible experience.

We arrived at 11:40 and got menus, but when we tried to order five minutes later, they said we had to wait until 12. There wasn't much choice anyway, and the croque monsieur we settled on turned out not to be available. The other dishes seemed rather expensive, so we went elsewhere. Down the street, we found a cheaper place that was nicer and had more choice.
