Mercure Han-sur-Lesse

We had a positive stay in the family room, and the breakfast was a highlight. Reception and bar/restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The room wasn't cleaned on our first day, though, and our key badges stopped working that day. A few things were broken too, including the toilet seat and a reading light by the bed. That's why I'd give it four stars rather than five.

The underground garage made charging our EV convenient. It was paid parking, I think about €18 overnight. We were two adults and two kids staying for one night, and the spacious, clean family room with comfortable beds gave us a great night's sleep. The toiletries were Nuxe, and I really liked how the soap, shampoo, and shower gel smelled. Breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent. A very comfortable, convenient stay.

We had a fantastic time. Breakfast was really nice, and the room was super comfortable. The pool was warm and pleasant, too.

Breakfast was superb, with plenty to choose from, including delicious salmon and pastries. My kids were already hoping to come back. We also liked the open street market a few steps from the hotel, which stayed open late on Friday. There's a small supermarket across the street, but keep in mind it closes around midday. The main drawback was having just one elevator. It gets very busy at checkout. We had a nice family room, with a comfortable, well-sized main bed and bunk beds right by the entrance. There was only just enough room for the door and the bunk bed corner to swing open. The TV had YouTube and Netflix, and there was a separate dining table and kitchenette. Some parts were locked, which didn't matter to us since we weren't planning to cook during our one-night stay. The mini fridge had two free bottles of water, the air-conditioning worked well, storage space was huge, and the toiletries were complete, including Nuxe hand wash, body lotion, body wash, and shampoo. The Wi-Fi was decent and easy to connect to. The basement parking costs €18 for 24 hours. Its entrance at the back of the hotel wasn't very clear, so make sure you get a ticket. The payment process was confusing, and the receptionist said it was a new system. You have to pay by card at the parking machine before exiting. If you plan to come and go during your stay, ask reception for a ticket, though we didn't do this. The pool isn't very big, and the depth is a flat 1.4 metres. The shower water was extremely hot, while the pool felt quite cold. You get used to it after a while, but I hope they consider raising the pool temperature a little. A separate elevator was supposed to serve the pool, but it wasn't working and there was no notice. We used the main elevator and checked the issue with reception. Even so, we enjoyed the pool, especially since we had it almost to ourselves. Thank you!
