We weren’t happy with the stay. The place is very remote, with no shops nearby, so you need to drive at least 10 minutes to get to one. There was no privacy either: kids, Isabel, and various other people walked around and looked into the property. There was drinking bear and loud music until 5AM. Isabel, the owner, met us for just two minutes to give us a door combination we had to memorize. She didn’t know how to use the remote for the one small TV in the leaving room, and she gave us no instructions for the heating or stove, so we couldn’t cook. The bathroom lights were on a timer and switched off every minute, which was very disturbing. The rooms are on the second floor up a very steep staircase. We were given 2 single bads even though we’re a couple, with no queen bad. Booking.com’s rating system can be incorrect sometimes. You need stars to rate a location, rather than making your own rating system.

The kitchen is super equipped, and there’s a nice terrace with a BBQ and sauna. We went for a weekend with a large group of about 20, children included, and each couple had their own room and bathroom. The living room is quite big, and I think you can rent the place for smaller parties too. There isn’t much to do in the area, which may be the only downside, but it works well for walks and bike trips.

A great place for a vacation or a special celebration, and somewhere to take some extraordinary photos. The old house has been rebuilt with a new style, mixing elegance and practicality. The exterior is fascinating, while the interior is subtle. There’s a big salon and taras, and the owner is nice.

There’s plenty of nature around for long walks, and the location is beautiful. The house is spacious, nicely decorated, and a great fit for large groups.
