Set among some of the highest peaks in Spa, this is a romantic getaway with everything close by. You come down an alley lined with pine trees to a pleasant yard, then find clean rooms and a nice owner waiting at the hotel. The rooms are clean to German standards. In the garden, you can enjoy peace and quiet and leave your worries behind. The only downside is the cars on the street if you sleep with the windows open. A peaceful place, five stars from me.

Now called 'La ferme du Soyeuru' and run by new people, this place has a very nice couple working there and an amazing breakfast. It’s very clean, and the decoration has changed completely, so it’s best to check Booking for updated photos after the renovation. The location is perfect, 10 minutes from the spa thermal wellness center and 25 minutes from the beautiful region of les hautes fagnes. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

There’s no over-the-top luxury here, just a pleasant, calm little hotel or B&B for a few days. It’s about a 10-minute drive from Spa and the F1 circuit.
