Everything else was really good, but the welcome desk needs to acknowledge guests, even when staff are on the phone. We waited three times without even getting a hello. Reservations should be handled by the back office so people checking in don't have to wait.

The room was average, and check-in felt very unfriendly. On top of the €155 room rate, there were several extra fees: €20 for parking, €25 for the dog, and €10 for a large bed. For €200, you can find a much more welcoming hotel. This wasn't worth the money.

Everything was fine, so I'd give it five stars. The real highlight was Jean Claude on night security. Jean Claude, aka Jean Claude van Damme, was super friendly. van der valk should be happy to have him on board.

This was our second stay as a group working at the F1, and we'd booked twin rooms after confirming we needed two beds. Instead, we arrived to find rooms with one bed and were asked, 'can't you both sleep in 1 bed for the night'. They eventually brought cot beds, which were clearly made for children. When we checked out early in the morning, they tried to charge us 25 euros for using one. Disappointing service.

The hotel is linked to the Thermes spa by funicular, which made visiting very convenient, and it's perfectly placed for downtown Spa. Our room was spacious and quite nice by European standards, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and outstanding. It was a great experience and we'd definitely return. It was quite warm during our stay, though, and the room's AC was just okay. Parking at the hotel is extremely limited, perhaps because of the location.
