Hostellerie Le Roannay

The bar and restaurants are comfortable, with a pleasant atmosphere, and service, especially at breakfast, was just what you'd expect. I've stayed at the old Roannay many times, so it took me a while to try the completely rebuilt, modernized one. The old hotel and restaurant were fantastic and nothing will compare, but times have changed, and the Roannay is now a comfortable, modern place. I hope to visit in summer. My hotel and petit Roannay are in the same group, which is good to know. They're both very nice hotels in their own right. I need to come back soon with less nostalgia.

WAUW, that's the word for the Roannay restaurant. I've been to more than 40 Michelin restaurants, and this is definitely one of my favorites. The flavors are complex, the ingredients fresh, and the combination is top notch. I'll definitely come back!

The staff and lounge were just awesome, and the reception and breakfast ladies, thank you so much. I can't thank you enough. The hotel is great, though I'm not keen on the price. The restaurant is pricey but good, with nice waiters and a polite chef. French cuisine just isn't my cup of tea, but whatever I think of the food, I'd give them five stars for everything.

The bread and butter and the amuse bouche were delicious, and the atmosphere was really charming. But the fish was wildly over-salted, honestly inedible. I expected better from this restaurant.
