After nine years away, we returned to Hotel Van d’Amblève, and it still has its wonderful charm. The welcome was very warm, and a friendly lady showed us to our rooms. We slept very well in the beautifully decorated, renovated rooms in the annex. The restaurant had also been completely renovated since our last visit in 2016, and it looks stunning. Breakfast was delicious and high quality, though the selection wasn't especially extensive. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on one of our two nights, and it was excellent. Our one reservation was the drink prices: more than €5 for a cola and €8.60 for a small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice felt quite steep to us. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a delightful stay. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Owner Lars was always around, attentive, and ready to make sure everything was taken care of with a smile. This boutique Belgian hotel exceeded our expectations on a trip organized by a driving experience operation. It's an old manor brought back to life with avant-garde flair, mixing vintage charm and cutting-edge amenities. The grounds feel artfully wild, and inside, cozy comfort meets sleek modern style. Dining was a culinary adventure, with restrained flavors and elegant multi-course meals served with care. The rooms have different moods, contemporary in the residence and nostalgic in the main house. It's a gem worth revisiting.

The wellness area was clean and had a zen feel. Hotel and restaurant service were excellent, with friendly staff who paid attention to details. I felt well looked after the whole stay and would definitely stay again when visiting the surrounding area.

I really enjoyed the restaurant and loved the meals they served. The room was very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they spoke to me in English since I don't know French. Free parking was great, and I had no trouble finding a spot. I'd definitely stay at the hotel again.
