Hotel Kronacker

The hotel is dog friendly, and my room was very modern. It was interesting to learn that the toilet flushes using stored rainwater. They also have their own charging station for electric cars.

I stayed at the Kronacker last week with a few colleagues from work, and really loved it. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed having the windows open at night. The location is lovely, right next to a park. Everyone was so kind, cheerful, and helpful, from the brasserie team to the front desk staff.

Tienen is already a peaceful sugar town, and the hotel was in a cozy, quiet spot. I enjoyed the food and my stay, as well as the friendly hotel hosts across reception, restaurant, and housekeeping. Keep doing your professional best in the future too. See you on my next trips to Tienen, and all the best :-)

The restaurant and food were excellent, and the old building is very nice, with the feel of an ancient hotel that's been renovated well. The rooms are simply equipped but nice. My room, though, smelled really bad around the toilet or the bathroom greywater connections, and the white bathroom floor was covered in black hair. I mentioned it at reception, though I'm not sure if the person was the hotel manager. They took note, but didn't say they were sorry. That reaction felt weak and was disappointing.
