Terre d'Ô

The place wasn’t clean, and the septic tank smell made the whole stay miserable. It was there all the time and made it hard to sleep. I tried reaching the host by phone and email but got no reply, so we were left without any support. We were also asked in writing to leave before 12:15 PM because other guests were expected. We hadn’t been told about that in advance, and Booking.com said we could stay until 3:00 PM. Given the smell, the cleanliness, and the lack of a response, I don’t think the amount charged was justified. A goodwill gesture for the trouble would have been appreciated.

A fantastic location, and the house itself is lovely and clean. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and we slept really well. Breakfast arrived at 8 am and was delicious. The kitchen is luxurious and has everything you need. There was even a cold beer waiting when we got there. Communication with the host was excellent, with clear instructions sent by email beforehand.

The hostess was helpful and quick to respond, and the apartment is nicely finished in a beautiful location. It wasn’t dirty, though there were quite a few thick cobwebs. With the temperature at 32 degrees Celsius inside, a fan would have been a welcome addition.

I stayed at Pascale's place for a long time with my children. She was very kind, and everything was very clean.
