The quiet setting near Turnhout worked perfectly while we were visiting friends, and our beds were so comfortable. Katleen was a great host. We had adjoining rooms and a cot, which suited our family of five, and our two-year-old especially loved the playroom. The green fields, donkeys, swing, sauna, and laundry facilities made it a beautiful place to stay. Thanks, Katleen!

We really appreciated how peaceful it was, especially at night, and the breakfasts were excellent. The language barrier made it harder to chat than we would have liked, which was a pity. Thanks again for such a lovely, calm stay at B&B dehessie. We’d happily recommend it. Paul & Marcos

There’s still a fantastic kitchen where you can make your own breakfast. The rooms are beautiful, and the view with the donkeys is stunning. As a B&B, it’s great, even if B&Bs seem to be a thing of the past.

We came in already loving the area, and staying here only made us prefer it more. Everything was very clean and furnished to modern standards. We can’t think of anything we’d change.

Our group of four spent two days here and loved the place. The room was beautiful, more than just a room really, and had every comfort. Those two sweet donkeys made the stay even more special. No breakfast was available, but there are plenty of nearby bakeries with long opening hours and a great selection. We hope we can come back!
